iWork Apps: Apple entschädigt Kunden für Kauf nach 1. September

Für alle die sich ein iDevice nach dem 1. September zugelegt haben, hat Apple die iWork Apps, wie auf der September Keynote angekündigt, kostenfrei zum Download freigegeben. Neben den iWork Apps (Pages, Numbers und Keynote) gibt es auch noch iMovie und iPhoto aus dem iLife Paket gratis. Garage Band fällt überraschenderweise aus diesem Angebot raus.

Manch einer könnte davon jedoch nichts gewusst haben und eine der oben aufgelisteten iWork Apps nicht kostenlos geladen haben. Sollte dies der Fall sein, bekommen Betroffene von Apple eine Email in der sie mit einem Guthaben entschädigt werden. Dieses Guthaben lässt sich in allen Online Stores von Apple einlösen ((Mac) App, iTunes und iBooks Store).

Mit dem iPad Event, welches voraussichtlich am 22. Oktober stattfinden wird, wird wohl auch die iWork und iLife Suite ein komplettes Redesign erhalten. Die Email im Wortlaut:

Dear iTunes Customer,

On September 10, 2013, Apple announced that iPhoto, iMovie, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers iOS apps are now available as a free download on the App Store for qualifying iOS 7 compatible devices activated on or after September 1, 2013.

Our records indicate that you purchased one or more of these apps on or after September 1, 2013 so we have provided you with the iTunes code below in the amount of $5.34. This credit can be used towards the purchase of any content on the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store.
